The Many Uses (Still) For Liquid Paper (“White-Out”)

In a supposedly paperless world, why does anyone still need something to correct paper mistakes? I know at least one, non-standard application: touch-up paint for Realtor sign riders. 🙂 It’s not as good as white nail polish, and not as water-repellent (or long-lived) as oil-based paint, but in a pinch . . . it’ll do!

“The 7 a.m. Sunday Open House” (Huh?!?)

What’s THAT About?? If you were to actually follow the “Open House” signs placed on street corners and key intersections (very) early Sunday morning, I very much doubt that you’d find a friendly Realtor standing in the front doorway, greeting visitors. Prime time for Sunday open’s isn’t till much later, typically starting after 12 noon....

Caught in the Act

Toppling Realtor “Open House” Signs While it happens all the time, you almost never catch ’em in the act. What am I referring to? The practice of self-appointed neighborhood vigilantes (busy bodies?  cranks?) to topple Realtor “Open House” signs — in this case, directing Realtors to a hard-to-find Edina home hosting this week’s Exceptional Properties meeting....
