Denver

“You Know a Housing Market’s Hot When . . .”

I’ll occasionally get marketing pieces from agents active in Scottsdale, Florida, or other warm spots Minnesotans are known to congregate, especially in the (very) cold winter months.

But, I don’t recall getting a pitch from someone based in Denver, soliciting referrals, like the one I got yesterday.

I already knew the Denver market was hot based on various sales yardsticks (NAR, Case-Shiller, etc.), plus the fact that it now sports its own “truncated acronym” neighborhoods (instead of Manhattan’s Soho and Tribeca, Denver boasts “LoDo” and “RiNo”).

But, when agents there are trolling nationally for incoming referrals, something’s definitely up . . .

P.S.:  My guess is that the number of Twin Cities agents soliciting Denver-area referrals is . . . zero.
