No, I haven’t actually verbally accosted anyone sitting on my bus bench (and blocking my ad).

bus bench 1But while I’ve never actually said it, I’ve certainly thought it.

If you’ve ever had your name plastered on a bus bench — or billboard, as (TV) Realtor Phil Dunphy does on an episode of Modern Family — you can relate.

When a local florist’s balloons obscure his billboard — and the “nice guy” requests don’t work — Phil authorizes teenage son Luke to take out the offending balloons with his bb gun.
