See If You Can Spot the Two (Very) Subtle Clues in the Picture (Above)

One of the BIG issues with 1.5 story expansions with two Bathrooms is, “exactly where are they?”

Or more specifically, where is the second Bathroom? (the first one is almost always on the main floor).

Master Bath or Basement Bath

More commonly, the 2nd Bathroom is in the Basement (what Realtors call “the lower level”), and may or may not include a Bath and/or shower (note:  on MLS, even a .25 Bathroom is rounded up to “one”).

Much less often — but more valuable and coveted by Buyers — is an upstairs Bath.

Which is in fact the case with the Windom (Minneapolis) home pictured above.

Two Clues (and a Clincher)

How can you tell?

Clue #1:  note the sloping ceiling on the back wall (that’s the roof directly above).

Clue #2:  look at the mirror in the upper right of the photo, which shows the reflected image of the shower.

Sure enough, here’s confirmation from the listing’s MLS “Agent Remarks” field:  “Outstanding updates throughout, including complete master bedroom/bathroom renovation.”
