“Wait Till Next Year Weekend”

Unlike, say, the new baseball season, there’s no official “Opening Day” for the Twin Cities Spring housing market.

start lineRather, local Realtor convention holds that the annual Spring market kicks off (sorry) the first mild weekend after the Super Bowl.

By that measure . . . it’s still Winter (local temps today are in the teens, with flurries and a stiff wind).

P.S.: My other, working definition of when the Twin Cities Spring market officially debuts:  when local Targets switch from selling mittens and gloves to swimsuits and suntan lotion ” also in mid-February!
