So THAT’S Where “Hands On” Comes From . . .

Which tailor would you rather buy a custom suit from?

A tailor who makes perhaps a dozen suits in a year, handling each stage of the process — fitting, measuring, fabric selection, stitching — themselves?

tailorOr, a tailor who delegates to multiple assistants and whose shop cranks out perhaps 50-70 suits annually?

Quality vs. Quantity

Substitute “real estate transaction” for “custom suit,” and you suddenly understand why sales volume matters less than sales quality (i.e., results) — not to mention customer service (which, dare I say, should be seamless? 🙂 ).

That’s also why would-be home Sellers should be wary of high-powered real estate “teams” that boast about their gazillion-dollar annual production.

My 2¢ . . .

P.S.:  None of which is to say that Sellers should hire an agent who only does 2-3 deals a year, isn’t experienced, or is otherwise a “one-man band.”

On the contrary:  good agents tap a network of professional photographers, stagers, closers, lenders, inspectors, legal counsel (as necessary), etc.
