The Twin Cities’ endless 2017-2018 Winter: January 2018 house photos . . still good in April.

Unseasonal Winter Photos in April? Not This Year

April Fool’s may have been Sunday, but the real April Fool’s joke arrived in the Twin Cities yesterday:  8″ inches of fresh snow continuing through today, and temps more typical of February than April (overnight low: nine(!) degrees).

All of which creates a surreal feeling for area Realtors who are having their new listings photographed now (myself included).

It feels bizarre to take — and post on MLS — home photos that look like Christmas, not early April.

But, unlike inserting digital blue skies, using software to simulate Spring is a “no-no,” at least as far as I’m aware.

P.S.: Many agents will make use of their client’s seasonal photos, if they have.
