“But, I Didn’t . . . .”  Yes, You Did.

I took a terrific continuing ed course recently where the instructor devised a game to make Realtors aware of just how egocentric they/we can be — and to cut it out.

Instead, the focus should always be on the client.

The game:  for the class to pair off, then see who can go the longest without using the words “I,” “me,” or “mine” while chatting with one another.

Just to make it interesting, the loser had to give the winner $1, who moved on to the next round.

According to the instructor, the all-time winner was an agent who’d somehow managed to collect $15(!)

Their strategy:  to surprise their partner with something like, “Gotcha!  You lose!”

Whereupon the other agent invariably would blurt out, “But, I didn’t . . . . #&$!@#!”
