millennials

Pre-Thanksgiving Cabin Fever??

Want a good explanation why Millennials and Generation Z-types — roughly, people aged 20 to 35 years-old — were AWOL from the housing market this past Summer?

It was Summer! (Duh).

So, why do they seem more active now?

Thanks to the suddenly not-so-benign Twin Cities weather, many are now cooped up . . . in their parents’ homes(!) (I’ll let you guess which part).

If those Milllennial’s or Gen-Z’s are old enough, those parents may even be retired, which means they’re around ALL . . THE  . . TIME.

Can you say, “motivated Buyer?”

P.S.:  Thanks to Edina Mortgage’s Steve Mohabir for that theory/insight, which sounds right to me.
