“New on Market July 1”

Supposedly, the only month in which there’s no recorded snow anywhere in Minnesota is July (and I’m not so sure about that).

So, it’s obvious that this Craftsman-style Bungalow (above) in Minneapolis’ Kenwood neighborhood didn’t really just debut on the market this week.

In fact, according to MLS, the home’s Cumulative Days on Market (“CDOM”) is 66.

But even that doesn’t seem right, because — even though the Twin Cities had a notoriously late Spring this year — the snow was still gone before late April.

The explanation?

The home originally came on the market March 24, but was switched to TNAS (“Temporarily Not Available for Showing”) for one month this Spring (I have no idea why).

That stopped the listing’s “market meter,” which otherwise would now be closer to 100 CDOM.
