“Sold, Subject to Inspection”

Yes, multiple offers — at least in some neighborhoods and price points — are making a comeback in the Twin Cities housing market today.

And yes, at least some would-be Buyers are skeptical that there really is competition for the home they’re interested in.

Unfortunately, I only really know one, absolutely 100% reliable way to tell if the home actually attracted another offer (or several):  wait 2-3 days.

If you re-contact the listing agent a few days later (or check MLS) and the home is now “sold, subject to inspection” . . . it really was.
