Here’s Hoping There Are No Construction Delays

First, this acknowledgement:  “Flux Apartments” — a new, upscale development at 28th & Fremont — appears to be a well-conceived, well-marketed property, and generally a fine addition to the area’s (growing) stock of luxury rentals.

So, their impressive Web site touts “resort living/uptown attitude”; the management company is running a sophisticated, high-profile contest to win a year’s free rent; and there are now billboards Uptown showing off the complex’s swanky, rooftop pool with this come-on:  “Live in Flux.”

What’s the one possible downside to using such a pitch?

Just this:  if there are any construction/occupancy delays, how long before that tag line becomes “Live in Limbo?”

(Sorry, I try to limit myself to one groaner every couple of months.)
