Buy HOW MANY to Get One Free??

In the course of being out and about doing “Realtor stuff,” I frequent A LOT of neighborhood restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

I’m also an inveterate bargain hunter.

Combine the two . . . . and you get someone who knows — at least anecdotally — which establishments have the best (and worst) “loyalty” programs for frequent customers.

Number of Punches

At the top of the list?

D’Amico’s, which only require five punches for a free meal.

Given that their entree’s can be $15 or more, that makes each “punch” worth $3.

At the opposite end of the continuum would be the coffee shop at 46th & Bryant, which shall go blissfully unnamed.

To get a free drink there, you need to buy 16 full-priced ones.

Assuming that you exchange your full card for a quadruple-half-caf-latte-with-a-chocolate swirl-no-whip (or some such) for $4 — that comes to a measly 25¢ per punch.
