Election Eve 2020

I suppose it’s possible that, eight months into the Pandemic, I’ve finally alienated everyone I know. 🙂

But, I actually think that’s not why it seems harder to reach people the last few days — myself included (and I don’t think it has anything to do with Halloween — not this year).

Peak Spam

My theory?

Given the crescendo of election-related text messages, phone calls, tv ads, etc. peaking now — especially if you’re in a battleground state (Minnesota is) — lots of folks are effectively setting their various devices (and brains) to “Do Not Disturb,” if not unplugging them altogether.

At least, outside of work.

Personally, I think that that’s a perfectly reasonable strategy.

Provided, of course, that you have either: a) already voted by mail and confirmed that it’s been received; or b) have a plan to vote in person on Tuesday.
