Listing Agent Refrain in Early October

Let’s get it on
Let’s get it on, baby
This minute, oh yeah
Let’s get it on
Please, let’s get it on

–Marvin Gaye; Lyrics, “Let’s Get It On.”

At least when it comes out of a Realtor’s mouth, the line, “let’s get it on [the market]”** isn’t untoward or otherwise out-of-bounds. 🙂

It’s a simple imperative of selling a home in the Twin Cities before colder weather and the holidays arrive.

Which means that all the would-be home Sellers who’ve been fastidiously prepping their homes the last few (several??) months now need to either complete their projects post-haste; or, price their home accordingly.

You know who you are . . .

P.S.:  The good news for such dallying homeowners?

In a (still) strong Seller’s market with scarce inventory, Buyers are more tolerant of minor flaws and imperfections.

**More commonly expressed as:  “Let’s get it on the market . . . ALREADY(!!).”
