What difference does it make if someone selling a home is a teacher, social worker, lawyer, or doctor?

I’d say little or none:  the home’s condition and features — plus the Seller’s Disclosure and Buyer’s inspection later on — speak for themselves.

The exception?

When the Seller is a master carpenter, and the home reflects their handiwork — the case for the beautiful Home Office with built-in’s, paneling, sliding glass door, and box beam ceiling in the Minnetonka home pictured above (it’s not clear to me from the photo whether the matching desk is a fixture or personal property).

P.S.:  It’s also relevant if the owner built the home; such Sellers often invested more (at least once upon a time) in upgrades and top-line finishes.
