“Think About It” . . . “Running Room” . . . “Investors Exchange”
What do the three names (above) have in common?
Just this: they’re all real-life organizations whose titles make for (very) unfortunate URL’s (Website names).
To pick just one example: “Running Room” merges into something that could easily be read as “Running Groom.”
A very different image, I’m sure we’ll all agree.
Unfortunately, “unintended salaciousness” seems to describe the vast majority of these . . . situations.
In the case of “Investors Exchange,” the URL was so ghastly that the organization actually changed its name, to “IEX.”
