Jewelry, Prescription Meds, Valuables . . . $1,500 Vases

In the “hindsight is 20/20 department,” I’m sure that the Plymouth home Seller — and their agent! — certainly wish that that $1,500 Living Room vase had safely been vaseput in storage before prospective Buyers showed up.*

Instead, the listing agent got the unenviable task of calling Buyers’ agents, days later, to see if they or their clients would ‘fess to anything (if me or my clients had done it . . . I would have alerted the other agent IMMEDIATELY).

Certainly a bummer for the owner and the agent, albeit an avoidable one.

The silver lining for the Seller?

Their home sold immediately.

*The concern about valuables/property damage is usually more associated with public open houses on weekends — where the hosting agent may have a house full of people to keep track of — versus a private showing.
