I’m not much of football fan these days, but I do know that green and gold are the colors of the Green Bay Packers, nemesis and arch rival of the hometown Minnesota Vikings.

Apparently, the folks doing theGreen_Bay marketing for the Twin Cities Home Remodelers tour either weren’t concerned about the association (is it just me?), or didn’t know.

Or maybe the “good” colors were already taken (Edina Realty is known for its trademark red & white, while rival Coldwell Banker Burnet is associated with blue & white*).

Theory #3?

The people marketing the Tour are stealth Packer fans and did it on purpose (you do run into some of those around here, also known as “cheeseheads”).  🙂

*Realtor or not, “Big Blue” to me will always be IBM, not CBB.
