“Good Curb Appeal,” Defined

I’ve always heard that one of the traits associated with physical beauty is symmetrical features.

The same is true for a home’s curb appeal.

Compare the two pictured homes, and ask yourself, “which one is more appealing, aesthetic, etc. — the one above or the one below?”

Personally, I can’t recall seeing another home quite so lopsided (question: why on earth put the dormer on the left side of the home instead of the right??).

P.S.:  if I were the listing agent for the top home, I would have made a point of turning on some Living Room lights before the photography.
