It sounds like a crank phone call that teenagers would make.

But, it’s actually my question for the Minneapolis Association of Realtors (“MAAR”), before I “pop” for the new iPhone 5 and render my barely 2 month-old dongle obsolete.

It’s that dongle — or adapter — which serves as an eKey (aka “Smart Key”) that lets Realtors open up “For Sale” homes for clients.

Unfortunately, MAAR’s main number seems to be out-of-service at the moment.

Best guess:  it’s got something to do with the new Instinet becoming mandatory today.
