Going . . Going . . (Still) NOT Gone!

The reason I don’t jump at sales — especially of high-tech items — is two-fold:  1) they seem to happen every weekend (or perpetually); and 2) after the “sale” is over, whatever’s left over is marked down even more.

That was the case with a high-end LED TV at one of the big box stores two weeks ago.

The Labor Day special, net of an automatic rebate, was $1,350.

Today?

It’s “on sale” — again — for $1,100.
