“Man Bites Dog” — Real Estate Version,
or Realtor Fish Stories

I literally can’t count how many times I’ve seen a 1.2 story home billed as a 1.5 story on MLS (trust me, if you’re over 5′ 4″, the difference is significant).  See, “When is a 1.5 Story Not a 1.5 Story?”  

And sometimes, I’ve seen legitimate 1.5 stories beefed up to 2-stories.

But until yesterday, I’d never seen a legal 2-story listed on MLS as 1.5 stories.

And no, I don’t have a clue as to why you would do that.
