New Name for City Lakes Real Estate Blog
In a shameless ploy to goose traffic, I’m hereby announcing an official change in this blog’s URL.
Instead of www.RossKaplan.com, effective immediately, the new address will be www.TwinCities-housewives.com.
Just kidding (kind of).
#1 — With a Bullet
After over 2,000 posts spanning almost four years on subjects ranging from housing market trends, Federal Reserve policy, negotiation strategy, etc., the runaway most popular post on this blog is . . . this week’s post on the real housewives of the Twin Cities (see, “Popular Posts” in the far right column).
I suppose the corollary to “the customer’s always right” is, “give blog readers what they want.”
In keeping with that philosophy, I’m currently working on posts discussing Casey Anthony, Michele Bachmann, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, etc.
P.S.: What is a “piggyback post?”
My term for a blog post that seeks to capitalize on the traffic generated by the day’s “hottest” subjects or individuals, by adding an editorial gloss or comment (or in my case, a trenchant insight 🙂 ).
