“But, the Realtor Worked So Hard!

You know you’ve been selling real estate for awhile when you empathize with the (fictional) Realtor instead of cheering for the story’s main characters.

But that was my reaction to watching G-rated “Ramona and Beezus” with my kids the other night.

The movie’s low point is when the unemployed Dad accepts a job in another city, and the family reluctantly has to put their home on the market (there’s even a scene in the movie showing the Realtor hosting a packed Sunday open house).

The climactic, happy ending?

A local job comes through at the last minute, and the family gets to stay!
