Every field has its most and least favorite activities.

As a Realtor with a decade of experience, here are mine:

Agent Favorites

–Closings (Yeah!!).
–Getting a call from a former client who relocated elsewhere but who’s passing through town.
–Hosting a Broker Open (the first time).
–Multiple offers (representing the Seller).
–Full-price offers with hefty downpayments (representing the Seller).

Least Favorite

–Paperwork (ughh!)
–Price Reductions
–Multiple offers (representing the Buyer)
–As Listing agent, receiving a call from the Buyer’s agent, post-closing, that there’s a problem with the home.
–As a Buyer’s agent . . . having to make such a call.

Fortunately, I can count (many) more instances from first list than the second (and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been party to the latter two situations).
