Changing Sales Terminology — or, from “Customer” to “Follower”

Once upon a time, there were “customers,” “subscribers,” and “patients.”

That morphed into “clients,” “guests,” “associates,” and “members.”

Today?

People are “fans,” “followers” (Twitter),  “patrons,” “sponsors” and . . . . you name it.
