On a “macro” level, the housing headlines are abysmal (yes, I’m aware).
On a micro level, however, it continues to be the case that well-prepped, well-priced homes in desirable neighborhoods . . . sell.
Like 5229 Chowen (see also, “Hot New Listing in Southwest Minneapoolis”).
It’s a Hit!
My clients spent the better part of March doing cosmetic updates, taking care of the Minneapolis point-of-sale inspection, working with my stager, etc.
As a result, when it came on the market April 4, the home was in tip-top condition — and attracted an instant crowd (the Broker Open alone had more than 30 agents through!).
The Buyer showed up scarcely 4 days later, and the deal was inked two days after that.
Elapsed market time: 6(!) days.
