My heart literally skipped a beat this morning when a computer folder for an especially involved, ongoing transaction suddenly went “poof!”

Like most Realtors, I am increasingly reliant on online archives to capture all the twists and turns that go into a consummated deal (and documenting same).

Which works fine — at least until three months worth of Contract addenda, counter-offers, inspection issues, etc. suddenly disappears.

Calling 911 — Edina Realty Version

Fortunately, once my panic subsided, I had the presence of mind to call Edina Tech Support.

Thiu quickly located the missing folder, and restored it to my desktop!

(For the record, I still don’t know what button or key I hit.  And if the folder had truly disappeared, Thiu reassured me that it could be  recovered from Edina’s backup files.)
