Pre-empted by the Finals

It’s hard to extrapolate from a sample size of two — but “two” is exactly the number parties who came through my Golden Valley open house this afternoon.

In both cases, they were wives accompanied by small kids (in one case, a six month-old in a car seat who definitely did not want to be watched by a 50 year-old Realtor while her Mom was elsewhere in the house).

Where were the husbands?

At home, watching the World Cup Soccer final between Spain and The Netherlands.

P.S.: adding more evidence to this theory: my front desk reported that this afternoon was especially quiet, with only a handful of calls.
