No Free Lunch — But Free Ice Cream (at least for one day)
Given the long (and growing) line at the nearby Ben & Jerry’s around 12:30 p.m. today, I thought it was a good idea to get my free ice cream before blogging about it.
Mission accomplished (as of about 10 minutes ago).
To prepare for the deluge associated with “Free Cone Day 2019,” Ben & Jerry’s is offering a pared-down menu of flavors — only about half a dozen — and cleared out all the in-store seating.
Works for me . . .
P.S.: Hat tip to my Whole Foods checkout person over the lunch hour, who gave me the “heads up.”
