Wholesale vs. Retail** Realtor Reviews
Thanks to continued super-scarce inventory in the Twin Cities, multiple offers are a fixture of this Spring’s housing market (again).
Which means agents need to be skilled positioning their Seller for multiple offers — then handling the resulting three-ring (five-ring??) circus with aplomb.
How do you know if the listing agent did well for their client?
A. The house sold for $25k over asking price.
B. There were 27 first showings and 8 second showings the first 3 days the home was on the market.
C. The Seller was delighted.
D. The agents representing the runners-up thanked the listing agent for how professionally they conducted the sale.
Answer: “D.”
No Sour Grapes
OK, so all of the above can mean the listing agent (representing the Seller) did a good job.
But, when even the Buyers’ agents reach out to the listing agent afterwards, to express thanks for how fairly and professionally they conducted things, you know they did it right . . .
**”Retail” feedback is from customers/clients/the public; “Wholesale” is from other agents.
