Wait a Second . . . Where?!?
I doubt you’re going to see any homes marketed that way — it is only “temporary,” right? — but at the moment, there are not one but two new cul-de-sac’s in St. Louis Park’s Fern Hill and Birchwood neighborhoods.
The west and east boundaries, respectively, are formed by Highway 100 — specifically, where a now-missing bridge has effectively dead-ended the stretches of Minnetonka Blvd. backing up to the highway.
Side Effects
If you live and work in the neighborhood (I do), the quiet is actually kind of nice.
But, for commercial businesses on either side of 100, the reduced traffic is, I’m sure, an unwelcome trial.
P.S.: Amongst the many other construction side effects: all the feeder streets in St. Louis Park that are now congested during rush hour, starting with Cedar Lake Rd.
