Recognize This House Today? Me, Neither
When the listing agent (OK, me) wrote the marketing verbiage above a year ago, I was contemplating a standard overhaul.
You know, gutting the dated Owner’s Suite upstairs, opening up the almost 400 square foot space, and putting in a new, larger Master Bath.
So much for my crystal ball.
(Almost) All New

It turns out the new owner of 2521 Kipling in Fern Hill’s St. Louis Park neighborhood had other, more ambitious plans — like, adding a completely new 2nd story; removing the breezeway and creating a two-plus car garage with a Bedroom and dormer above; and gutting the rest of the house to the studs.
Which means in retrospect, the Buyer really paid $450k for the 1950 home’s foundation and gorgeous, 75′ x 138′ (.24 acre) lot a couple blocks west of Minneapolis’ Cedar Lake.
Looks like the project — which began last Fall — is about 3-4 months away from completion . . .
