Not Just Inclement Weather

Unlike mail carriers, there’s actually a list of weather conditions that will cause home photographers to scrub.

mailmanLike rain, snow, fog, and — especially for interior shots — an overly gloomy sky (for exterior shots, a blue sky can always be added digitally).

For drone photography, add one more item:  high winds.

The vendor I use cancels photos when the wind is above 20 mph — which is why a shoot I had scheduled for a Minnetonka listing this morning was postponed until Wednesday.
