Making it Easy for Buyers (& Listing Agents, Too)

Listing agents who are ostensibly competing against one another occasionally hold a multi-broker Open house for the same reason car dealers cluster in the same part(s) of town:  it increases traffic for everyone.

door-PrizeThat’s especially true for nearby homes that are similar in features and price point, increasing the likelihood that they’ll  attract the same prospective Buyers.

Alternatively, the properties may be very different — but are all in the same building (condo’s) or subdivision.

May the Best Man Listing Win

Of course, teaming up also makes it easier for the listing agents.

They can pool their marketing and advertising budgets; get some nice refreshments (champagne, anyone?); and share the cost of a couple nice door prizes for attendees.

It’s a given that any over-priced, under-prepped homes will simply help sell their more attractive competition.

But, that’s true whether such homes are showcased on the same multi-broker tour or not.
