Maybe THAT’S Why They Call it “a Listing”

Spring vs. Any Other Time of Year

Not all the time, but usually, an about-to-fall-over home “For Sale” sign signals trouble with the listing.

listing_signSo, typically, the home has been on the market a LONG time; the homeowner is discouraged — or gone (the home is vacant or rented); and/or the listing agent has long stopped paying close attention.

Weather-Related

When is general dereliction/market fatigue not the case?

Each Spring in Minnesota (whenever THAT is), and the frozen ground begins to thaw, causing hundreds (if not thousands) of “For Sale” signs to tip perilously.

When that happens, however, an attentive agent will quickly call the sign company.

Even if the sign companies are swamped, the maximum time to correct a listing sign should be 7-10 days.
