Spoken Like a True Dyslexic

My (mildly) dyslexic, left-handed son — just like me — posed that question today.

Why isn’t itwestnorth” instead of “northwest?”

Or “eastsouth,” instead of “southeast?”

Makes perfectly good sense to me . . .
