The Ultimate Lake Calhoun Listing
Yes, there are cities where people can live on the water (the Hudson on the west side of Manhattan comes to mind; I’d certainly guess that that’s a housing option in New Orleans as well).
But, as far as I know, the Twin Cities isn’t one of them.
That’s true even though the Mississippi wends its way through Minneapolis and St. Paul.
While the River would be a great place to hang out in Summer (whenever that is), in winter the ice would crush the boat’s hull.
Which leaves mapping error as the explanation for the shot above — ironically, for a home located in Lakeville, MN (no joke).
P.S.: Too bad — it’d be fun to market a home with (truly) “panoramic lake views.”
