The last time I was an expert on “aspect ratios” — how wide something is relative to how tall — I was shopping for a flat-panel TV for my den a couple years ago  (I recall something about movie theatre screens being wider than TV’s, and the ratio “4:3”).

Clearly, however, the photo (above) is too wide, or horizontal.

The effect is to make the room seem like it has a low ceiling — not especially in the Seller’s interest.

Yet one more reason to spend the $150 or so it takes to have professional photography done.
