Pets, Plants, Dolls, Garden (*Dolls??) All Still OK

Admittedly, the bar wasn’t set very high.

But, my charge while my wife and three kids were in New York last week visiting family was, well, to make sure everything in (and outside) our household was still living when they returned.

Home (Almost) Alone, or, “Daddy, Don’t Forget to . . . “

So, I’m happy to report — with the aid of some well-timed cool weather and rain — that I succeeded.

*In the case of my daughter’s dolls, my task was to make sure that our (very mouthy) Golden Retriever didn’t dismember “Rebecca,” “Suzy,” “Barbara,” or any other members of her collection.
