Hotel Room as Showroom Floor

[Editor’s Note:  the following is another post from my weekend playing “Texas tourist,” while I’m visiting relatives in Arlington, Texas.]

Want an ingenious way to make a bath shower feel more spacious?  (at 6′ 2″ and 220 lbs, you notice such things).

Make it bow outwards, extending over the lip of the bathtub.

The shower curtain still fits inside the tub, so no water ends up on the floor.

But the shower stall itself feels — and is — much bigger.

P.S.:  A few years ago nicer hotels started getting requests for bed brands from guests who wanted the same experience at home.

So, at least some hotels now sell them.
