Brand Confusion

Since Manager Josh Kaplan’s switch to another office (actually, two) last Spring — see, “Edina Realty Shake-Up!” — I’ve been the sole “Kaplan” in Edina Realty’s City Lakes Office.

Which has meant a dramatic drop in errant email’s, voice mails, etc.

But not to zero.

I received a forwarding message the other day from new office mate Karla Rose, who (like me) was confused about how the prospective Buyer had found her instead of me.

Then, we realized:  “Rose, Karla” looks a lot like — yup — “Ross Kaplan.”

Which just leaves the continuing ed folks who ask if I’m related to Stanley (“Kaplan Education”) whenever I take one of their courses (I’m not, unfortunately).
