Zipping through my backlog of taped “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” shows the other night, I caught this exchange between Leno and an audience member:

Leno:  What do you do for a living?

Young woman:  I’m a Realtor.

LenoSo, how do you like living with your parents?  (big laugh).

Are there some starving Realtors out there at the moment?

No doubt.

But many experienced Realtors — myself included — are having one of their best years since the downturn (or ever!).

In the meantime, as far as I’m concerned, the more people who think real estate is a crummy business (and stay out of it) . . . the better.
