“Pardon my French Condensation”

Notwithstanding the oppressive weather in the Twin Cities the past few days, I’ve been busy showing homes.

Which means viewing homes with tons of condensation on the windows; walking through basements with leaky or overflowing dehumidifiers; and seeing a/c coils that are laboring mightily.

To their credit, in each case the listing agent representing the home in question proactively gave me a “heads up” about what was going on, so I could relay to my client.

Nice.

P.S.:  Excess moisture can be an issue, especially if it’s chronic and causes deterioration in the window sills, encourages mold growth, etc.

However, at least on a first showing, those concerns typically take a back seat to the home’s floor plan, overall condition, and updates.
