Does virtual staging work?

It certainly did for 2705 France Ave. South, in Minneapolis’ Sunset Gables neighborhood.  It only took 3(!) showings to sell — and just closed last Friday.

While the home needed some updating (see below), the three virtual staging photos — one apiece in the Living Room (above), Family Room, and Master Bedroom — helped Buyers visualize the potential.

Of course, the fact that the home has great bones and curb appeal; a three car garage (2 1/2 in back, plus an attached single); hardwood floors under most of the carpeting; and is one block to Cedar Lake didn’t hurt, either.

Total cost for virtual staging?  About $600 (vs. easily $5,000-plus to rent furniture and accessories for several rooms, once you factor in moving expenses, stagers’ time, rental minimums, insurance, etc.).

And virtual staging is faster!

P.S.:  Thanks, Kathy!  You were great to work with.
