Showing Instructions: “Please Take Off Shoes, Leave Card, Turn Off All Lights”
It’s a high quality problem to have, to be sure.
But, I knew I’d shown A LOT of houses the other week when, after finishing chatting with Edina Title’s Richelle Pikala in her office, I reflexively turned off her overhead light on the way out.
Force of Habit
If you didn’t know, Buyers’ agents are often charged with turning off the lights in a home they’ve just showed.
Multiply two dozen or so showings x 15 lights average per home, and I estimate that I conservatively turned off over 300 lights already that week.
I was quick to explain that to Richelle, who didn’t take it personally. 🙂
