“The Big Little Muddy”
“The Big Muddy” is typically associated with the Missouri River.
But, at least the next few weeks, that term also applies to what’s left of Sunset Boulevard in my neighborhood in South Minneapolis.
Workers tore up the street last week to, umm . . . (un)pave the way for a new sewer system (see blue pipes in middle left of photo, above).
Once done, they’ll install a brand new street.
In the meantime, the road is a bit . . . messy (and very much closed to any and all traffic).
