Proven Vote-Getter From a Midwestern Swing State

I’m not endorsing anyone — at least not yet — for President in 2020.
But, here’s a little unsolicited advice to national Democrats from at least one independent voter (this one): before choosing your nominee, think long and hard about the ideal candidate’s profile.
My suggestion, if you want to win in November: pick a centrist woman from the middle of the country (NOT the coasts), who is a proven vote-getter in a purple state, who can actually get legislation passed in today’s highly partisan political environment.
Hmmm . . . I wonder who ticks all those boxes?? 🙂
P.S.: Open to a male candidate with many of the same qualities — plus a track record as a successful entrepreneur?
