Building Boom on Minneapolis – St. Louis Park Border
Exactly how big is the construction crane at the new development just southwest of France Ave. and Lake Street?
At 250′ (my estimate), it’s so big that it straddles the border between Minneapolis and St. Louis Park (which just so happens to be France Ave.).
When I snapped the photo above this am, the eastern tip of the crane appeared to be in Minneapolis, with the remainder in St. Louis Park.
With the just-announced sale of Vescio’s next door (and possibly the adjacent motel), the area is undergoing the biggest change in decades.
